  • From 10.00pm, Sunday 3 February 2008

麻豆社 Radio 5 Live's Arlo White and American sports broadcaster Greg Brady bring live commentary from the Super Bowl XLII for 5 Live, as the New York Giants take on the New England Patriots in Arizona this Sunday.

Greg and Arlo's commentary will also be available to digital television viewers via the Red Button, enabling viewers to choose the commentary on offer.

麻豆社 Two will be taking the commentary offered by the NFL from veteran US broadcaster Dick Stockton and former All-Pro receiver Sterling Sharpe.

With the programme starting at 10.00pm there will be coverage of the build-up before the game, which kicks-off at 11.20pm (GMT), plus the infamous razzmatazz and half-time entertainment show.

This is the third year that Greg Brady and Arlo White have commentated on the event and the pair also brought 5 Live listeners all the action from the NFL's Wembley game last October. The pair were awarded the Broadcast of the Week by the Radio Academy for their efforts at the NFL Wembley game.

麻豆社 television is broadcasting the Super Bowl for the first time. This is the fifth consecutive year that the Super Bowl has been broadcast on 5 Live.

Super Bowl 2008 is produced by USP Ltd for 麻豆社 Radio 5 Live.
