Â鶹Éç East announces winners of first Â鶹Éç East Sports Awards

Â鶹Éç East Sports Awards celebrated the finest in sporting achievement over the past year and was attended by both professional and amateur sportsmen and women from across the Â鶹Éç East region.

The ceremony celebrated 10 different categories and was held at the American Air Museum, Duxford on Monday evening (12 November).
Ìý
The final award of the evening was the Â鶹Éç East Sports Personality of the Year. The award went to Lewis Hamilton.
Ìý
The Â鶹Éç East Unsung Hero was awarded to Paul Webb. Paul will now go forward in the star-studded Â鶹Éç Sports Personality Of The Year programme, where an overall winner will be named.

The award ceremony was broadcast live on Â鶹Éç Local Radio in the Region presented by Paul Stainton of Â鶹Éç Three Counties Radio.
