Ìý

"I'd like to look down but I can't ... everyone's done it ... all those gorgeous women, they've all had itsy bitsy bits done [but] they all lie, I get crazy when they lie ... it's all about lips, t*ts and a**e, every woman should put the money on herself, of course you want to feel better about yourself."

Ìý

On the sartorial hits and misses of this year's Oscars: "Penelope Cruz was the prettiest ... the worst were Nicole Kidman, she looked like a ketchup bottle, and Meryl Streep, I adore her but she looked like a Chinese lesbian."

Ìý

On how Hollywood's finest achieve their waif-like beauty: "They're very thin and smell of vomit, I don't shake their right hands. Everyone does botox, it's the new diet; they can't open their mouths."

Ìý

And on why Heather McCartney Mills gets her vote for smartest woman in the world: "To get him not to sign a pre-nup – she must have a trick pelvis like we don't understand!"

Ìý

Julian McMahon reveals that his role as a doctor in Nip/Tuck has led to some unusual approaches: "You get many different kinds of proposals – 'would you like to sleep with my wife and give her a boob job at the same time'."

Ìý

He reveals he is set to star in another two seasons of the hit US drama.
