This year's Lent Talks on Â鶹Éç Radio 4 see six well-known
figures reflect on the story of Jesus' ministry and Passion from the
perspective of their own personal and professional experience.

Writer and comedian Armando Iannucci talks about the devil and temptation;

Chas
Bayfield, advertising guru, speaks about the money changers in the temple;
Ìý
Cherie Booth QC finds the themes of restorative justice in the story of
Zacchaeus;
Ìý
Shami Chakrabarti, Director of Liberty, reflects on the trial of
Jesus;
Ìý
the Lord Douglas Hurd shares his feelings on Pilate;
Ìý
and finally Jeffrey John, Dean of St Albans, talks about the defeat and victory of the
cross. Ìý
The talks start on Wednesday 28 February 2007.
