Radio Cornwall attracts 6,000 new listeners over the last year

麻豆社 Radio Cornwall has attracted 6,000 new listeners over the last year, according to the latest audience figures issued by Rajar (Radio Joint Audience Research Ltd).

The figures show the station now has an average weekly audience of 161,000 listeners with 36.7% of the station's target area tuning in at some point during the week.
听
This is the highest reach of any 麻豆社 local radio station on the UK mainland.
听
Daphne Skinnard, Assistant Managing Editor, says: "We've been very busy this year travelling the length and breadth of Cornwall to meet our audience in their communities and will continue to do this.

"The whole team has worked hard to make our listeners central to everything we do. We're delighted with the figures."

The figures are from Rajar, an independent survey system which tracks radio listening for both 麻豆社 and commercial stations.
The period measured was from March to September 2006.
