Â鶹Éç Radio Five Live's World Cup coverage brought a record 2.1 million unique user
agents to the network's website during June 2006.

The total was almost double May's figure and helped the station buck the seasonal
downward trend in web activity.
Ìý
Interactive highlights during the month included:
Ìý
Goalfinger, an online World Cup
trivia game which generated over a million page impressions;
Ìý
video diaries from
presenters including Nicky Campbell, Adrian Chiles and Peter Allen which were
viewed 10,000 times;
Ìý
and mobile phone images of presenters off-air, uploaded to
the site, that attracted 400,000 views.
Ìý
Visitors to the site listened to nearly two million hours of live radio online
during the month - nearly three times higher than the same time last year - tuning in to sports coverage and other big draws, such as Prime Minister Tony
Blair co-presented football phone-in, 606.
Ìý
Five Live's sister station, Â鶹Éç Five Live Sports Extra, saw its web traffic climb by
21% in a bumper month of live sports coverage.
Ìý
The digital-only network attracted
235,000 unique user agents who consumed more than 700,000 hours of live football,
tennis, cricket, golf, rugby and motor racing during June.
