Richard Deverell, currently Chief Operating Officer for C麻豆社, will care-take the role until the new appointment is made.

Alan Yentob, the 麻豆社's Director for Drama and Entertainment and C麻豆社, said of Alison's departure: "We are obviously sad Alison is leaving, but we wish her all the very best in her new role.

Alison Sharman became Controller for C麻豆社 in June 2005 and prior to that was Controller for 麻豆社 Daytime.
