Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. Friday 29 April, Â鶹Éç ONE; repeated Sunday 1 May, Â鶹Éç THREE.

Ìý

In tonight's show, Jonathan Ross talks to Golden Globe-nominated actress and star of Nip/Tuck, Joely Richardson.

Ìý

When asked about plastic surgery, she says: "I didn't think I'd be talking about plastic surgery for the rest of my life," denying that she's had any procedures herself but not ruling it out for the future.

Ìý

"I always say that I couldn't say. I'm not [saying] morally no, people should never have anything done. Kids who haven't grown into their looks yet, that horrifies me, [but] friends who are older . I think, fair enough.

Ìý

"I can't say, hand on heart, that I'd never have anything done.

Ìý

"I broke my nose once on set. I heard a terrible crunch . we put a liquid bandage on it and shot the next scene. If it starts collapsing on me, we'll see."

Ìý

She also talks about her mother, Vanessa Redgrave, who

co-stars with her in the hit series.

Ìý

"It was quite awkward, because I felt incredibly protective of her. I felt that I needed to look after her and that threw me a bit.

Ìý

"That's how it happens in mother/daughter relationships - it flips over."

Ìý

Jonathan also welcomes to the show entrepreneur extraordinaire, Chairman of Amstrad, and star of Â鶹Éç TWO's hit series The Apprentice, Sir Alan Sugar.

Ìý

"[It's been] fantastic. I turned down lots of business programmes in the past but this fell into line with the enterprise work I've been doing.

Ìý

"My intention is that the next move is to make sure the winner is a success; that's my next goal.

Ìý

"There's a need for young people to understand in this country that they've got to start thinking about enterprise."

Ìý

Completing this week's line-up is Martin Freeman, star of The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy and forthcoming Â鶹Éç TWO sitcom, The Robinsons.

Ìý

There's also music from Montreal-based band The Dears.
