Two new 麻豆社 Governors appointed

Ranjit Sondhi's term as Governor for the English Regions extended

Downing Street today announced that Dame Ruth Deech and Angela Sarkis have been appointed Governors of the 麻豆社.

They will take up their posts on 23 October 2002 for a four-year term.

Downing Street also announced that Ranjit Sondhi's term as Governor for the English Regions is being extended by four years until October 2006.

In a statement 麻豆社 Chairman, Gavyn Davies, said: "I greatly welcome the appointment of Ruth Deech and Angela Sarkis and look forward to working with them.

"They bring a broad range of experience which should make them both valuable members of the Board of Governors.

"I am also pleased that the term of office of Ranjit Sondhi has been extended. He is a great champion of the English Regions and brings real insight to the Board's deliberations."
