Lonely Planet Magazine and Â鶹Éç Knowledge Magazine will soon both be available in Taiwan following an international licensing deal between Â鶹Éç Worldwide and Cite Publishing Ltd. Lonely Planet Magazine launched today – 1 August - with Â鶹Éç Knowledge Magazine following a month later on 1 September.

Lonely Planet Magazine will be released bi-monthly, costing NT169 and Â鶹Éç Knowledge Magazine will be released monthly, costing NT220, and each will feature their own local content. Ku Ya-Sui and Ho Wei-Yi will edit Lonely Planet Magazine, while Ku Ya-Sui and Lin Hui-Wen will edit Â鶹Éç Knowledge Magazine.

Cite Publishing said of the new deal: "We're delighted to be working with Â鶹Éç Magazines for the first time. It’s really exciting to be producing local versions of Lonely Planet Magazine and Â鶹Éç Knowledge Magazine in Taiwan, and by building the Lonely Planet international community, we're looking forward to taking a small part of Taiwan to the rest of the world."
