Â鶹Éç Worldwide has announced the appointment of Pete Marsden as Chief Technology Officer. Reporting to Chief Operating Officer Sarah Cooper, Marsden will join Â鶹Éç Worldwide this month and be responsible for overseeing all areas of technology development across Â鶹Éç Worldwide globally. He will lead the company's thinking in developing new means of connecting with millions of consumers via digital platforms around the world. He will also play a significant role in developing the company's information systems infrastructure and processes.

Pete was previously Vice President of IT & Networks at Orange. Prior to this position, he was jointly responsible for designing and launching Egg in 1998, initially a telephone banking service, and developing it into an online banking service using the very latest web technology at that time. He also worked at First Direct as a Project Leader and Systems Designer leading the company in the creation of a number of key technology systems. Pete has also worked for large multinational groups such as Lloyds TSB and Citibank in various roles including CIO, IT Director and CTO.
