Â鶹Éç Worldwide brings Life to Latin America

Â鶹Éç Earth today announced the sale of its landmark natural history program, Life, to four broadcasters in Latin America. The sales were confirmed just weeks after the show was highlighted at Â鶹Éç Showcase Latin America 2009.

Following deals brokered by the Americas team at Â鶹Éç Worldwide, FTA channels - Globo (Brazil), TVN (Chile) and CBC Barbados, and cable channel - Discovery Latin America, have all acquired the latest epic from the Â鶹Éç Natural History Unit. Life has now been sold to 19 broadcasters across the globe.

Helen Jurado, Regional Sales Director - Latin America, Â鶹Éç Worldwide said, "These new deals confirm the insatiable hunger for Â鶹Éç Earth programming. Life has really captured the imagination of our clients and I'm thrilled that we're able to announce these sales so soon after presenting the title at Â鶹Éç Showcase Latin America."

Captured by the world's top wildlife photographers, using the most cutting-edge filming techniques, Life reveals the wonderful ingenuity and incredible strategies of living things in their endless struggle to survive. It has the revelation, cinematic style and emotionally involving individual sequences that were the hallmark of The Blue Planet and Planet Earth, together with the scope, detail and content of a David Attenborough epic.

Life is A Â鶹Éç/Discovery/SKAI/Open University co-production in association with RTI Spa and Arte.
