Â鶹Éç Worldwide drama dazzles at ATF

Â鶹Éç worldwide is set to thrill audiences with contemporary drama at the annual ATF event this year.

The dark crime thriller Wallander sees the return of Kenneth Branagh to the small screen in an unforgettable performance as the title character. This major Â鶹Éç 1 drama is the first production from new independent Left Bank Pictures in conjunction with Yellowbird.ÌýThe series investigates three sinister murder mysteries based on the award-winning and phenomenally popular novels by Henning Mankell.

Survivors is another highlight in Â鶹Éç Worldwide's catalogue. From the writer of Primeval, Adrian Hodge's re-working of the classic seventies Â鶹Éç drama series, based on the novel by Terry Nation, is a thrilling action adventure. A group of lone survivors are faced with the ultimate challenge – to simply survive - after a mysterious disease wipes out the rest of the population. Starring Freema Agyeman (Doctor Who, Torchwood) and Max Beesley (Hotel Babylon) amongst others.

Being Erica is another new edition to Â鶹Éç Worldwide's catalogue at this year's ATF market. The intelligent, modern and witty drama is the first programme from Â鶹Éç Worldwide's new Canadian-based production partner Temple Street. Funny, tragic and uplifting in equal parts, it offers an alternative, lighter tonic to the darker dramatic offerings of Wallander and Survivors.

Â鶹Éç Worldwide is also bringing back a number of popular returning series; Primeval Season 3, Robin Hood Season 3, Hotel Babylon Season 4, Doctor Who Season 4, Hustle Season 5 and Spooks Season 7.

The acclaimed dreamscape In The Night Garden by Ragdoll will be on offer to broadcasters, as will the brand new title, 3rd and Bird. From the makers of the smash hit The Wonder Pets, comes this beautiful and unique animated series for three-to five-year-olds packed with entertaining stories, songs and adorable characters. A Little Airplane's production is set in the canopy of a beautiful old tree where the main character Samuel Lovebird is joined by a whole host of other quirky friends.
