Rose
Elliot is Britain's foremost vegetarian cookery writer. A passionate
vegetarian since she was a child, Rose published her first book,
Simply Delicious, in 1967. Since then Rose has written over fifty
cookery books, which have sold three million copies all round the
world and opened the eyes of thousands of people to the health-giving
benefits of vegetarian and vegan lifestyles. Rose has also contributed
to many magazines and newspapers, has appeared on numerous radio
and television shows and demonstrates at cookery shows all over
the UK. She is a patron of the Vegetarian Society and in 1999 was
appointed MBE for services to vegetarian cookery. In addition to
her writing and cooking, Rose runs an astrological consultancy with
her husband with whom she lives in Hampshire and London.
