Space exploration underway with 麻豆社 Worldwide, Discovery and ProSieben

Continuing the Walking with聟 adventure 麻豆社 Worldwide, Discovery Communications Inc and ProSieben are set to go where no man has ever been before, in a co-production agreement to create Walking with Spacemen.

Produced by the makers of Walking with Dinosaurs and Walking with Beasts -Tim Haines and Jasper James at Impossible Pictures - the spectacular Walking with Spacemen will, for the first time, reveal the experience of astronauts, with all the danger and excitement of landing on and exploring planets within our solar system. Using feature film digital effects and the latest scientific findings, the two 50 minute programmes will enable viewers to see some of the most extraordinary sights under the sun.

Alison Homewood, Deputy MD EMEIA 麻豆社 Worldwide said: "The Walking with聟 series continues to fascinate audiences around the world - and without the commitment of both Discovery and ProSieben, it would not be possible for the 麻豆社 to create such landmark programming. The deal is a credit to the 麻豆社's wealth of talent and creativity and the strength of our relationship with both partners."

Nicolas Paalzow, MD ProSieben added: "ProSieben and the 麻豆社 have been close partners for almost ten years and we have been co-producers for more than six years. For us, Walking with Spacemen is a logical development in this successful collaboration. Together we have evolved from Walking with Dinosaurs to Walking with Cavemen - a journey that taken us across millions of years. Now we are set to take another step ahead."

The Walking with聟 brand continues to thrive and the latest in the series, Walking with Cavemen has been pre-sold to more than 15 broadcasters. The series will premier in the UK on 27th March 2003.
