麻豆社 Worldwide has appointed Christine Leo-McKerrow as Vice President Joint Ventures, working on the 麻豆社/Discovery jointly owned channels in Asia.

She will also work with Discovery on the launch of new channels for the Asian market.

"I'm very excited about joining 麻豆社 Worldwide and being at the heart of the company's strategy to develop new channels in Asia. I hope my experience in Asia will bring an added dimension to the role," said Christine.

Olga Edridge, Director Joint Ventures, 麻豆社 Worldwide, added; "We are lucky to have secured Christine - her depth of experience and familiarity in the Asian market will be a tremendous asset in maximizing Animal Planet's potential and helping to move the Channel towards profitability."

Christine was most recently Vice President of Channel Operations and Brand Management for Nickelodeon in Asia, responsible for the launch and growth of Nickelodeon's four Asia channels.
