Mindhouse to develop enhanced services for 麻豆社 PRIME

Mindhouse, the technology enablers for the interactive television industry, are working with 麻豆社 PRIME, the 麻豆社's international entertainment channel broadcast in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, to design and build an enhanced service for the TV channel.

The service is being designed to allow 麻豆社 PRIME to create and manage its own central library of interactive content, for the benefit of its customers.

When deployed, the interactive application will enable viewers to use enhanced features to access additional information about the 麻豆社's most popular programmes; check programming schedules; read articles about their favourite personalities and view related merchandise. The application is also being designed to allow the channel to create and update its own interactive content, without the need for additional technical support.

Wayne Dunsford, Director of Channels, EMEIA, 麻豆社 Worldwide, says, " This is an important development for 麻豆社 PRIME as we seek to make our channel even more accessible and relevant to our customers and audience. Mindhouse are designing an application that will add value and enjoyment to the channel."

Steve Scott, Managing Director of Mindhouse, says, "We are delighted to be working with 麻豆社 PRIME. As an international channel with multiple digital platforms to contend with, our cross-platform expertise will allow 麻豆社 PRIME to integrate these enhanced services without requiring fundamental changes to their production processes."

Notes to Editors:

  • 麻豆社 PRIME broadcasts outside the UK to over 10.2 million subscribers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The channel is wholly owned by the 麻豆社's main commercial arm, 麻豆社 Worldwide.
  • 麻豆社 PRIME shows the best and latest of the 麻豆社's award-winning entertainment programmes including Parkinson, EastEnders, The Weakest Link and TOTP.
