appointments at 麻豆社 World
麻豆社
World, the 麻豆社聮s 24-hour news and information channel, has
recently made three key appointments to its Marketing, PR and Advertising
Sales teams.
Jane
Clancey is the new Head of Marketing for 麻豆社 World and took up her
position at the beginning of the new year. Her responsibilities
include managing the 麻豆社 World brand as well as the creation and
execution of global and regional campaigns both on and off-air.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Jane Gorard, she will be
developing marketing plans for key markets. Jane has spent recent
years in Marketing Recruitment with Ball & Hoolahan. Prior to
that she was ASDA聮s General Marketing Manager for Home &
Leisure after ten years of consumer marketing experience in leading
blue chip companies.
Ciara
O聮Sullivan joined 麻豆社 World in December as the new Senior Press
Officer. She comes from the 麻豆社 News bureau in Brussels where she
worked for three years as the 麻豆社 News European Publicist raising
the profile of correspondents and content amongst the local media.
Prior to that she worked in the European Commission in Brussels
and spent three years with an Irish NGO coordinating and travelling
on livestock aid shipments to Africa and Eastern Europe. A fluent
French, Spanish and Italian speaker, and reporting to the channels聮
Head of PR, Sarah Lindsay, Ciara will be working to continue raising
the profile of the channel and its content through the media worldwide.

on the appointments, Jane Gorard, Director of Marketing, 麻豆社 World

such talented people have joined our Marketing and PR teams and
are already contributing to our continuing success."
John
Williams is a new Account Manager in the 麻豆社 World聮s European
Advertising Sales and joins an eleven聳strong pan-European sales
team reporting to Regional Sales Director, Carolyn Gibson. John
will be working on a portfolio of UK based clients and agencies,
developing sponsorship and advertising business for 麻豆社 World聮s
global feeds. Previously a Client Sales Controller for Sports.com
and Virgin radio, John was responsible for securing several media
awards. This background together with his experience working for
a number of leading London-based advertising agencies over the past
10 years, extensive global travel and even a stint as a radio disc
jockey in Hong Kong will make him an ideal addition to this growing
team.
