Following on from the success of the Â鶹Éç television programme, 'Who Do You Think You Are?', you may be inspired to research your own family history.Ìý

But where do you go when you get stuck? And are you using all the available resources to their full potential?Ìý

Well, if you have made a start but feel as if you're banging your head against a brick wall, then we want to help.

At sessions across the county on Saturday, 11th February 2006 specialists will be on hand to offer advice and help.

The sessions

At the session in the morning at the Nottinghamshire Archives (County House, Castle Meadow Road, Nottingham, NG2 1AG) we will have experts from the Nottingham Family History Society and staff from the archives to advise and help you.

And in the afternoon at Mansfield Library (Westgate, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, NG18 1NH) we will have Philip Jones, independent family history expert, and Dennis Hill and others from the Mansfield Family History Society available to help you with your search and talk through ways that you may want to take it further.
