The Sleep-over Disaster

Zoe Brook was having a sleepover (for her 11th birthday) with her friend Molly Hardingham. Molly had never been to her house before. Zoe thought that when Molly went to her room, she would sneak behind her and startle her. She glided up the old creaky staircase. Zoe had never been up the second staircase. A door, that had never been opened before was at the top of the staircase. She opened the door and slipped into the partly opened door. Then, she waited for Molly to arrive.

Meanwhile, Molly's mum's red mini pulled up down the deserted street. Her mother was unsure about her daughter sleeping over in a mansion. While Molly got her stuff out of the boot of the mini.ÌýZoë's mother told them that Molly and Zoe were going to be alone for 1 hour. Molly was overjoyed to be alone with Zoe for 1 hour!

Zoë heard Molly strolled up the creaky staircase. She tried to open it, but it was jammed, she couldn't open it the slightest bit. She was scared. The branches banged and clanged on the sky light. Owls began to call. She wasn't scared, she was terrified.....
