What are your plans for Bonfire Night?
"Remember, remember the 5th of November...." But why?
Well, it is Bonfire Night of course!
Bonfire Night is a tradition that came out of a very important event in British political history.
It is often celebrated with bonfires, fireworks, and lots of sweet treats.
But what are your plans this year? Let us know in the comments below.
Some people celebrate bonfire night by going to an organised event with a bonfire and firework display.
However, in recent years, fireworks displays have been scaled down or cancelled all together. Bonfire events are often very expensive to put on as they require lots of health and safety precautions and fireworks themselves can cost a lot of money.
Fireworks, bonfires and sparklers are colourful and good fun, but they can also be dangerous.
It is important to make sure you know how to stay safe: check out our guide here.
And, if you have pets don't forget to keep them safe and happy too.
Another fun part of Bonfire Night is the tasty treats.
Things like toffee apples, and candy floss are popular at events and in the shops at this time of year.
