EA Sports FC 24: Mbappé, Haaland, Messi - who are the top ranked players in the football video game?
The FC 24 game is out on Friday 29 September, but EA Sports has revealed the list of the top-ranked players on the game ahead of its release.
The game is EA Sports' first football-themed release since cutting ties with Fifa last year.
The list is full of familiar football superstars, including Manchester City's Erling Haaland, Spain's star midfielder Alexia Putellas and England Captain Harry Kane, but Cristiano Ronaldo misses out on the top 10 - he's down at number 95!
The players will have special playing styles and unique moves in-game.
Let's check out the top ten ranked players in order.
1. Kylian Mbappé
Superstar France striker Mbappé comes out on top, after shining in the 2022 World Cup, despite not lifting the trophy.
2. Alexia Putellas
The Spain and Barcelona star midfielder is widely regarded as the best female footballer in the world, and one of the greatest of all time. She won all the women's player of the year awards not once, but twice, in 2021 and 2022.
3. Erling Haaland
Manchester City's Haaland has taken the Premier League by storm, setting records wherever he goes. How long until he's at the top of this list?
4. Kevin De Bruyne
The Belgium and Manchester City midfield magician is injured at the moment - but his amazing stats here should give him something to smile about.
5. Aitana Bonmati
Another star from the Spain side that won the 2023 World Cup, Bonmati won the Golden Ball award as the tournament's best player.
6. Lionel Messi
Mr Messi needs no introduction and winning the World Cup in 2022 sealed his GOAT (greatest of all time) status. The move to play in America hasn't stopped his stats smashing it.
7. Sam Kerr
Australia's talisman plays for Chelsea in the WSL and recovered from injury in time to help her country get to the World Cup semi-finals.
8. Karim Benzema
Current holder of the trophy as the world's best male player, Benzema plays in Saudi Arabia now, but his stats are still Champions League.
9. Thibaut Courtois
The Real Madrid and Belgium goalkeeper is known as a giant of the game... literally - he's 6ft 7in tall.
10. Harry Kane
England's captain comes in at number 10. He's recently moved from Tottenham to Bayern Munich - will that bump him up the list next year?
