Surfing dogs put best paws forward to win Dogmasters 2021

Scooter was ready to ride the waves this weekend. Scooter clearly got the 'dress to impress' memo and made sure their hair was styled for the surf! Prizes are awarded for style, longest wave, dismount, effort, tricks and most importantly tail wagging.
Dogmasters is the UK's the only dog surfing event and has been running since 2018. Here you can see Wilma, and owner George, bringing a Hawaiian twist to the competition.
Did someone say Scooby Snacks? Harper's owner Simon braved the summer waves dressed as Scooby Doo! Let's hope their paddle-boarding wasn't too... Scrappy!
Diogie rode the waves with owner Liz - who dressed up as a dog for the competition. Here they are having a bit of a 'paws' in their practice paddle before the big competition!
Uh oh! Pup overboard! This cheeky dog decided to jump off the paddleboard and have a doggy paddle instead! We don't blame him.
