Tribute to 'joyful' Chester cyclist killed after van crash
A woman who died after she was struck by a van while riding her bike was "known to many as a joyful and caring lady", her family have said.
Felicity Hughes, 56, died in hospital on Monday soon after she was hit on Cherry Grove Road in Chester.
Her family said she was a "wonderful person" who would be "truly missed".
Cheshire Police said a 48-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been released under investigation.
Ms Hughes was hit at about 08:16 GMT on Monday by a silver van on Cherry Grove Road, closed to the junction with Tarvin Road.
The force said they were continuing to investigate and have called on any witnesses or those with any of footage of the incident, which happened during a "busy time of day", to contact them.
