Sale police chase crash driver dies
A driver has died after a BMW crashed into a parked car during a police chase.
A passenger also remains in a critical condition in hospital after the crash on Marsland Road in Sale, Trafford, at 20:25 GMT on Sunday.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) said it was investigating, having been alerted by Greater Manchester Police (GMP).
GMP has been approached for comment by the 麻豆社.
The IOPC said its investigation was in the "very early stages" after it was "notified by the force that a police vehicle had attempted to stop a BMW driver on Homelands Road".
"The BMW made off and collided with a parked car on Marsland Road after a short pursuit by officers," a watchdog spokesman said.
"We have been informed that the BMW driver has since died in hospital and a passenger remains in a critical condition with life-threatening injuries."
