Hull dog attack: Man sought by RSPCA after bulldog punched and kicked
- Published
The RSPCA has made an appeal to trace a man after CCTV captured a dog being kicked, punched and stamped on in Hull.
The animal charity released footage of the suspect after the attack outside a shop on Priory Road last Saturday afternoon.
A tan-coloured French bulldog cross was attacked for more than a minute after it had fought with a dog belonging to a passer-by, the charity said.
It was a "sustained attack on a defenceless animal", the RSPCA said.
The bulldog suffered facial injuries in the attack, the charity said. The man was also walking a white/tan terrier-type dog.
The incident took place at about 16:00 GMT, and the RSPCA has urged anyone with information to get in touch.
