Man who is 'risk to women' flees care facility
A potentially violent man has absconded while on escorted leave from a care facility in east London.
The Metropolitan Police are searching for Balasankar Narayanan, 44, who was last seen at 18:40 BST on Sunday, when he ran off from staff at a park in Ilford.
The force warned Mr Narayanan was considered a risk to woman and appealed for witnesses to help trace him.
But detectives said he should not be approached by members of the public and anyone who believed they had seen him should contact police.
Mr Narayanan has links across London, in particular to Newham, Greenford, Hammersmith, Highgate and Ilford, as well as the West Midlands.
He has also been previously found in Grays in Essex and in Manchester.
