A charity in Salford is celebrating funding more than "200 life-saving missions" transporting critically ill babies and children across the UK.
Since 2021, the Children鈥檚 Air Ambulance charity shop in Salford has raised 拢885,456, enabling the service to fly sick children from one hospital to another for specialist care in clinically-designed helicopters.
Alan Edwards, who manages the store in Regent Retail Park, said: 鈥淭he funds raised in our store will help to save little lives.
"Without this support we wouldn鈥檛 have been able to continue to raise vital funds to support the charity鈥檚 life-saving missions."
The Salford store is one of 20 stores dedicated to raising funds for the Children's Air Ambulance.
It has received 11,593 bags of donated goods since it opened, but is calling on the local community to make further donations of both new and second-hand items to continue their crucial work.
"We would encourage everyone to continue to donate their pre-loved items to keep our life-saving missions possible," said Mr Edwards.
