Police have released a CCTV image as part of a witness appeal in connection with a series of sexual assaults in north-west London.

The incidents involving four women on four separate occasions happened between 3 and 6 August in the Brent Cross station area, the Met said.

It is believed they could be linked.

Det Insp Neal Heffernan said a suspect had been arrested and charged but it was possible that he could have assaulted other women who were yet to come forward.

Police said the suspect had been charged with four counts of sexual assault, one count of kidnap with intent to commit a sexual offence, exposure and causing another to engage in sexual activity without consent.

He appeared at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Friday and was remanded to appear at Harrow Crown court on 6 September.

Det Insp Heffernan said: "Please don鈥檛 feel like any incident is too small. We need the courage of the victims to report to us in these matters so we can make sure their attackers are stopped and prevented from further harassing and assaulting women.

鈥淚f you frequent Brent Cross station and have been assaulted or seen anyone being assaulted by the man in the photo, described as a black male, wearing a black tracksuit and balaclava and was seen to be riding a lime bike, then please come forward to us.鈥
