Motorcyclist seriously hurt in collision with van

A motorbike rider who was involved in a collision with another vehicle in Hull has been left with life-threatening injuries, police have said.

The collision, between the motorcycle and a Ford Transit van, happened at about 18:20 BST on Saturday on Sutton Road, towards Beverley Road.

The driver of the Transit, a 48-year-old man, was arrested at the scene and remained in police custody, according to Humberside Police.

Officers asked anyone who saw what happened, or who had footage of the collision, to get in touch.
