Two taken to hospital after three-vehicle crash
Two people have been taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash.
Police said it happened at about 07:00 BST on Commercial Street in Cornsay Colliery, County Durham.
The fire service and two North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) crews were also called to the scene.
A spokesperson for the NEAS said the patients were taken to the University Hospital of North Durham.
