Ex-Met Police officer cleared over child abuse images
A former Metropolitan Police officer has been found not guilty of three counts of making an indecent image of a child.
PC George Patmore was cleared last week by a jury at Southwark Crown Court.
Patmore, who was attached to the North East Command Unit, pleaded guilty to publishing an obscene article and will be sentenced on 17 September.
