Back in the year 2000, the National Botanic Garden of Wales officially opened its doors to the public. As well as spectacular flowers and plants, there's mammals, reptiles, amphibians and more than 100 types of moth and butterfly plus a superb range of birds.

There are always seasonal highlights but the summer months are when the gardens look their very best.

Access:The Garden is accessible to all visitors, whatever their level of ability. The complex has been designed with wheelchairs in mind. There are also motor-powered and manual wheelchairs available at the Gatehouse free of charge.
Facilities: Restaurant, cafe, plant shop. Art gallery. 360 degree film theatre.
Getting there:

The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about 10 minutes off the M4 motorway in Carmenthenshire.

Opening times:

Open daily except Christmas Day.
