You can think of a festival field as more of a competitive arena for the shape-throwers of this world - and we don't just means the ones on the stages. Here are our favourite dancers, bouncers and headbangers from the weekend so far.

The glittery groover who couldn't get enough of PVRIS

About 50 seconds into the above clip of PVRIS's What's Wrong, you will see a man who is most definitely feeling the vibe. Is he working out his lateral abs? Is he confused about how dabbing works? Or is he just doing his own, blissfully shimmery thing? We like to hope it's the latter, and what better soundtrack than the moody Massachusetts rockers on truly magnificent form?

Korn's show-em-how-it's-done headbang

Nobody headbangs like a nu-metal man called Head, and that, fortunately, is exactly what Korn's guitarist is called. (Brian Welch to his mama.) This is textbook form, right here: look at the lovely line between his back and the tip of those long dreads. Beautiful.

Marmozets and their old-school dance crazes

A classic move is forever, as the iron-lunged star that is Becca from Marmozets proved with a classic in-out, in-out, shake-it-all-about (turn around not pictured).

Major Lazer's zorbing crowdsurf

Diplo is a very giving performer, throwing treats including Major Lazer shirts out into the crowd during the dance outfit's banging set. Never let it be said that he rides roughshod over his fans. Except, of course, when he does, in a giant inflatable ball. Not the most graceful of moves, but it ranks high on the effort and impressiveness scales.

The Migos high elbow

This was a standout move from DJ Durel in a set mostly dominated by a classic point-and-bounce format. Extra points for that flairy hair-toss, too.

Everything Everything's Saturday evening fever

He's loving the bass, he's loving the drums, and, at about 18 seconds in to the above clip, you can see that Everything Everything's Jonathan Higgs is also loving a bit of John Travolta disco inspiration.

Frank Carter's punk air-clutch

That is the pure power of punk rock right there, grasped between Frank's strong fingers. Can you feel it? You bet you can.
