As the conflict in Ukraine continues, we stand with our broadcasting partners and colleagues who are working under extremely difficult conditions to bring trusted, impartial information to their audiences.
Â鶹Éç Media Action continues to support our local partners to keep essential news operations running, report on events and help dispel misinformation. We are also providing Lifeline training to help journalists understand what audiences need most in a crisis, such as information on accessing shelter, medical care and support for displaced persons.
The people of Ukraine are living through violence, displacement and great uncertainty. They need free, public interest media that provides them with information to make critical decisions and creates space for dialogue.
Â鶹Éç Media Action is committed to continuing our work in the region as the conflict and resulting humanitarian crisis deepen. We call on all sides to respect the critical role of free and impartial media and to ensure the safety of journalists working in areas of conflict.
