Grade II listed Heaton Park is a picturesque addition to the Manchester 2002 Games and will be home to one of the gentler sports - Lawn Bowls.

Venue hours:

Opens 60 minutes before each session

Parking:

Park and Ride car park about a 15 minute walk from the spectator entry.

Information for disabled spectators

  • Wheelchair spaces (each available with one accompanying companion seat) are available
  • Guide dogs are permitted in all areas
  • Disabled patrons may enter through the main entrance to the venue
  • There is an alternative entrance at the operations entrance
  • There are no steps to climb before entering the venue
  • There are no steps to climb after entering the venue
  • There are accessible toilets

If visiting Heaton Park, please remember:

  • No glass bottles or cans may be brought into the venue
  • No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the venue although they may be purchased from the bar within the venue
  • Smoking is permitted
  • Children under the age of two will be admitted free provided they do not occupy a seat
  • Plan to arrive one hour hour before the start of the session
