The Queen's
Jubilee Baton Relay has completed its tour of the island of Malta
- the last stop on the international route before it returns to
the UK.
The Baton arrived
in Malta on 1st of June then toured the the Maltese capital Valetta
and the holiday resort of Marfa. It was then carried to Gozo and
Medina before being presented to the President of Malta, Professor
Guido De Marco.
The Baton is
now on display until it flies back to the UK on to commence the
UK route on 6 June
2002.
