The 2012 summer bus will be going to 27 towns and cities to promote the Olympic games and encourage more participation in sport.

Over a ten week period, the Roadshow will visit all of the nations and regions of Britain in a specially branded London 2012 double-decker bus, unveiled for the first time at the launch event.

The Roadshow is organised by the London 2012 Organising Committee, the Department for Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), Sport England and national sports councils in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and The National Lottery.Ìý

The Roadshow’s theme is ‘Join In’, encouraging sports participation, particularly amongst young people, and coaching.
