Scrap it

Whilst filling up tanks with fuel in a barracks in Germany, a German asked me if I knew where there was a ³§³¦³ó°ù´Ç³Ù³Ù³óä²Ô»å±ô±ð°ù. Mistaking it for ³§³¦³ó´Ç³Ù³Ù±ôä²Ô»å±ð°ù in the din, it took a few minutes for the penny to drop and had a very amusing dialogue before both breaking into laughter.

Editor's note: ein ³§³¦³ó°ù´Ç³Ù³Ù³óä²Ô»å±ô±ð°ù is a scrapdealer and ein ³§³¦³ó´Ç³Ù³Ù±ôä²Ô»å±ð°ù or ein Schotte is a Scotsman.

One might add that ³§³¦³ó´Ç³Ù³Ù±ôä²Ô»å±ð°ù while technically correct, is not a word you'd actually use to refer to a Scotsman in German - you'd always say Schotte.
