Calling all fans

Are you a fan of Call the Midwife? Do you engage in creative activities inspired by the hit Â鶹Éç drama, from visiting the filming locations at Chatham Dockyard or knitting dolls of the central characters to baking Sister Monica Joan’s favourite cakes. If so, we’d love to hear from you!

This joint Â鶹Éç and Oxford University project aims to understand the many different ways that fans engage with, and express their passion for, Call the Midwife (CTM).

We plan to invite 10 fans to an interactive workshop at the Â鶹Éç’s Broadcasting House in London to share their creative activities with each other and discuss how they express their passion for CTM. These fans will be filmed in one-to-one interviews for a special 10-part video blog series capturing their experiences and stories and the motivations behind, and significance of, their CTM fandom. In doing so, we hope to develop a better understanding of why CTM continues to resonate so strongly with its loyal fanbase and uncover the innovative, meaningful, and inspirational directions in which audiences take the programme.

To enter, click on the Â鶹Éç Uploader button below where we will ask a series of questions designed to learn more about you and understand why you would like to take part in the workshop and video blog series. You will also be asked to upload a 2-minute video explaining why you are a fan of CTM and showcasing any objects, artefacts, or other creations you would like to share.

It sadly will not be possible to choose everyone who fills in this questionnaire and we will get in touch directly with those being considered to take part. Please note you must be a UK resident and over the age of 18 to take part.

The data you provide in this form will be held safely and securely by the Â鶹Éç and the way in which the Â鶹Éç will use your data is outlined in the Â鶹Éç Privacy Notice.
