Malverns

Malvern Priory - interior 3

Work began on the Priory in 1085. The Norman church was extended between 1450 and 1500. The tower is very similar to that of the nearby Gloucester Cathedral and was built by the same masons. The parishioners of Malvern bought the priory for £20.
