Apna Sapna Money Money tracks the chaos that ensues when a bunch of miscreants are embroiled in a convoluted quest for some stolen diamonds. Armed with an already dubious script, producer Subhash Ghai has done the film no favours by raking in a motley crue of C-list stars. Ritesh Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade and Anupam Kher are the only real talents who render the film barely watchable. Comprising unsavoury innuendo and over-used gags, the overriding objective here is cheap titillation.

Carlos (Jackie Shroff) is a bankrupt underworld don, awaiting the delivery of a stash of diamonds by his moll Sania (Celina Jaitley). Finding the incompetent Inspector Mane (Suniel Shetty) hot on her trail, Sania comes up with a plan to evade arrest. Meanwhile, in the course of helping his friend Arjun (Shreyas Talpade) on the path to true love, charming rogue Kishen (Ritesh Deshmukh) becomes unwittingly embroiled in the chaos, when the diamonds fall into his hands.

Apna Sapna Money Money features a cast of actors that wouldn鈥檛 be ill-placed in a police line up. Its bad enough to find Jackie Shroff doing yet another turn as an incompetent mobster, but when you鈥檙e also presented with a recently resurrected Chunkey Pandey and a bunch of clone-like, over-enhanced air-heads, you know you are on the treacherous path towards cinema hell. Making for a more attractive woman than his female co-stars, Ritesh Deshmukh is the saving grace of the film, demonstrating fully his penchant for comedy. Similarly, Shreyas Talpade of Iqbal fame transcends the oddities that surround him to bring a touch of warmth to the proceedings. Ultimately, the narrative is lost to the freak show.

Apna Sapna Money Money is rich with innuendo, mindless laughs, raunchy song and dance routines and vacuous women in barely-there outfits. Unless cheap titillation is what you鈥檙e after, you鈥檇 be advised to save your money.
