Michael Douglas

The Sentinel

Interviewed by Rachel Simpson

鈥How do you train yourself to instinctively step in front of a bullet? 鈥

Michael Douglas is no spring chicken but he's back in a lead role after a whopping 34 years in the game. Son of Hollywood legend Kirk, Douglas made his A-list name as an action man in comic adventure Romancing The Stone. However, his best cinematic moments have come from his unwise choice of on-screen women (Glenn Close and Sharon Stone in Fatal Attraction and Basic Instinct respectively), an eclectic line in costumes (those braces in Wall Street; that dressing gown in Wonder Boys) and his undeniable talent at delivering unnerving performances (see his ordinary guy turned psycho in Falling Down). In his latest role, Mr Zeta Jones goes on the run as a special agent accused of plotting to kill the President in The Sentinel.
