Award-winning actress Maxine Peake performs the iconic role of Pelagea Vlassova, a woman whose radical action to protect her son from imprisonment transforms her into the figurehead for a revolutionary movement.

麻豆社 Radio Drama North in collaboration with musicians from the 麻豆社 Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by HK Gruber, present Mark Ravenhill鈥檚 version of Bertolt Brecht鈥檚 The Mother, a compelling drama with songs set in pre-revolutionary Russia with an original score by Hanns Eisler and recorded live with an audience at The University of Hull鈥檚 Middleton Hall and broadcast on 麻豆社 Radio 3.
