Sun 29 Jun 2014 The Park Stage
Listen to the last

An alumni of Goldsmith's university with his star in the ascendant, James Blake’s trippy, melancholic dance is the perfect way to end a blissful day on the Park Stage. Last year saw him hit the John Peel Stage to play his second album, Overgrown which later that year won the Mercury Music Prize.

A versatile producer, his atmospheric creations have been released under both his own name and that of Harmonimix, seeing plaudits from Gilles Peterson and Zane Lowe to name a few. Throw in a couple of well-chosen covers from the likes of Joni Mitchell and Destiny's Child (yes, you read correctly) and you've got yourself one mesmerizing Park Stage finale.
