Concert Information

Forget what you thought you knew about orchestral concerts; this new and innovative series requests that you DO turn on your mobile phones and tablets.

The Â鶹Éç Philharmonic, in partnership with the University of Salford, will be exploring new and rarely performed pieces – bringing audience immersion and new technology to the forefront.

The sessions will be featured in an enhanced live stream on the orchestra’s website, which enables the audience to explore the orchestra, receive synced information about the music and even view a live orchestral score.

Bring your devices and help us explore a new way of experiencing an orchestra.

This afternoon:

Join us for a celebration of the music of Anders Hillborg, including the meditative lontano in Sonno sung by soprano Hannah Holgersson. (Please note that this is a change to the original programme - Hannah replaces Ruby Hughes).

At the interval, join us for a discussion before Eleven Gates is repeated - inviting you to listen again with fresh ears.

Tickets also available for evening concert

Another Red Brick Sessions is taking place in the evening at Peel Hall. Tickets are free and available via the RNCM box office. Link below.
