Concert Information
Playing the majestic organ of Temple Church, organist Anna Lapwood joins the Â鶹Éç Singers for a concert featuring her own transcriptions of the ‘Four Sea Interludes’ from Benjamin Britten's opera Peter Grimes, as featured on her critically-acclaimed new album, ‘Images’. Alongside the transcriptions of Britten’s iconic and evocative operatic score is a world premiere by Kristina Arakelyan. Described by Â鶹Éç Music Magazine as a rising star, Arakelyan’s Seascapes mirrors the themes of each sea interlude to create an interlinking sound world between choir and organ. The concert is conducted by Ben Palmer.
