About this event
We're looking for musical families to come and perform at the Â鶹Éç Proms as part of the Proms Family Orchestra and Chorus!
You could be performing alongside a cast of wonderful musicians from all corners of the world, including Montenegrin guitar star Miloš Karadaglic, the gospel vocal group Blind Boys of Alabama, Radio 3's World Routes Academy protégé, veena player Hari Sivanesan, and the Northern Sinfonia.
The great thing about this project is that anyone can take part, no matter if you are a first-timer or a virtuoso. The music will be devised by you – the Family Orchestra and Chorus – with the help of our fantastic team of professional musicians. You'll go on a journey of thrilling music making with your family, which will result in a unique piece of music that you will all perform on stage at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the Â鶹Éç Proms and broadcast live on Â鶹Éç Radio 3.
You'll need to commit to all rehearsals taking place in London during July and August. The project is free, so please book early as places are limited.
