Since their formation in 2011, Loughborough’s Park Bench Society have hardly put a foot wrong. Discovered by Dean Jackson, presenter of Â鶹Éç Introducing show The Beat, the band recently grabbed a coveted spot on the Â鶹Éç Radio 1 playlist for their track Room 66 and their slot at Reading & Leeds is one of nine festivals they are playing this summer.
The group, who started out as a trio but recently recruited a fourth member, came together through a fondness of ska and Roots Manuva and now produce tight, intricate melodic indie that takes pride in offering fans something new.
