London-based electronic musician Jon Hopkins is best known for his 2013 album Immunity - a runaway success of a record that took him all the way to a sold-out gig at Brixton Academy in April, 2015 - but he鈥檚 got a CV as long as he is tall. Immunity was his fourth solo album and second Mercury Prize nomination (he was first given the nod for Diamond Mine, a 2011 album he released with Scottish singer-songwriter King Creosote), and he鈥檚 a celebrated soundtrack composer and record producer, too - working, most notably, on Coldplay鈥檚 2008 album Viva la Vida with Brian Eno.
